About me. I love all animals and I want a Career that lets me work with animals. Like becoming a herpetologist or an ecologist just anything that lets me work with animals. I’m working on starting a YouTube channel to share all of my adventures with my pets and help people fined the perfect pet for their lifestyle. I have a snake 3 dogs a cat a bearded dragon and a gargoyle gecko. I also love art and editing.
Passion project
Lexi’s passion project this year was on how to create a YouTube channel that was both safe, and impactful. She completed an online course on the subject and then applied what she learned to the AMPed YouTube channel to increase their traffic. Lexi has also created graphics, and planned content for her upcoming channel about pets. Finally, she created a presentation for her parents demonstrating her knowledge, maturity, and ability to maintain a channel safely. She connected with local pet related businesses, the AMPed marketing interns, popular YouTube creators, and many more, something that she said was previously a challenge for her.
Axtraordinary Pancake Mix
Lexi and logan started Axtraordinary pancake mix for the first school project they made they’re own recipe, and made a Business Plan. they started a website, and even have an investor. Lexi personally loves to help with marketing and design!
Icivics
Lexi did a icivics project on different interest groups. The topic was the Lacey act and the two different interest groups were the United States Association of reptile keepers, and the US fish wildlife service. she did not get to interview the US wildlife service but she did get to do an interview with a professor in conservation law. It’s also helping her with her editing skills.
Short story
Lexi wrote a fictional short story about her snake Sylvie’s first adventure. it’s about coming to her new home. there’s lots of new experiences in this short story. It took about three weeks to write and edit. She learned how to properly write a short story with paragraphs and how to make people connect to the store and make it seem real.

Hi, my name is sylvie and I’m a Ball Python and Today I am going to tell you about one of my adventures.
I woke up in my usual home. It was a a huge enclosure. With infinite space. Then there was a loud slam outside. I was so scared, I didn’t even know what was happening. someone came and put me in a small snake bag. It was dark and cold.
About twenty five minutes later there was shaking. It was terrifying I thought my life was over! I couldn’t see what was happening. I could smell some of my friends, but I couldn’t see them. I fell asleep and hoped for the best.
The next day I was in a big building with lots of other snakes. I didn’t know what was happening and when I tried to escape I got stopped by an invisible shield. I later learned that it was a plastic container. I saw a few of my friends being taken away by people. I tried to save them but i was trapped.
A few minutes later a sweet girl came and took me out of the container. I tried to take my chance to escape but her hands were warm and I was cold so I decided not to. A few minutes later I was back in the container And the girl took me away. We walked around the busy place for a while and then left.
We got in a smaller metal thing and started moving. It was making a loud noise. It sounded like thunder. I could see light but I couldn’t see outside. The people I was with were nice but I couldn’t understand what they were saying. All i under stood was home. I tried to escape the container I was in but i couldn’t pop it open so I waited until we stopped. After we stopped the thunder noise that the metal thing was making stopped.
The people who I was with brought me into a big house. It was nice and warm and quiet. A few minutes later the girl set the container I was in on a cold surface. As soon as the girl walked away I took my chance to escape. I used all my strength to pop open the container and a few heartbeats later I heard a pop. I was free.
I slithered out of the container and on to the cold surface. It was like cold rock and it was very smooth. I couldn’t get a good grip. Eventually I got to a tall black thing. I thought it was a tree. I later learned it was a Stool. I slithered down the stool and found a good place to rest. It was warm and cozy. Eventually the girl found me and put me back into the container.
A few minutes later the girl brought me to a dog. He was white and tan. I thought he was going to eat me! His teeth were huge. I was terrified but he was so gentle and sweet. He even laid down and let me warm up next to him. I learned his name was Zeke And now we are best friends. We even play together with dog toys.
Later that day I was put into a temporary enclosure. It was so much smaller than my old home luckily i only I stayed there for about 10 months. After the 10 months I got a new enclosure. The first night I explored part of my new home. It was much bigger than my first home There were plenty of branches and plants and hides. And I could see Zeke I was so happy!
I found a really comfy log to sleep in, and my human loves to snuggle and watch movies with me. When she takes me out it’s nice warm and cozy. I love my human and she feeds me the best food. I already love it here.
